May is Federal Budget time

The Federal Budget was handed down on 14 May 2024 and there was the usual hurly burly of commentary that went with it - notably, the $300 power bill rebate drew much attention. Inflationary effects of the budget (or not) were also hotly debated.


This newsletter doesn't deep dive into those issues, but it does touch on a few things that didn't hit the headlines.
