Noel Whittaker recently published an article in The Courier Mail highlighting the link between credit and the wheels of commerce. He gives the example of a man of substantial means who was happy to go guarantor for his son, but was knocked back and then goes on to explain how the banks' approach to deal approval has shifted over time - making life particularly difficult for small business borrowers.
